KANSAS GEOLOGICAL SOCIETY TECHNICAL PROGRAMS
In order to reassure those geologists whose names start with A-L, who will commence the period in which they need to earn CEU’s for license renewal on July 1, 2003 and for those geologists whose names start with M to Z who still need CEU’s, this report is being issued.

Thursday, Dec. 12:  Annual Business Meeting for Kansas Geological Society
and the Kansas Geological Foundation (12:30 PM in the Bank of America Auditorium)

Wednesday, Dec. 18:  Dr. Randy Van Schmus, Kansas University
“Geochronology of Detrital Zircons:  Valuable   Clues to the Depositional History of Tectonic Basins”

Possible Reserves:
 Dr. James Reilly, NASA, Astronaut/Geologist.  Said he would like to return to Wichita to make a 
 presentation.  Money would have to be raised to pay his expenses. 
 

All technical meetings are held at 12:30 p.m. in the Bank of America Auditorium 
unless otherwise noted.

Note:  For those geologists who need 30  points to renew their licenses, there will be a sign-in sheet at each presentation and also a certificate of attendance.
