The
2003 KGS Annual Banquet was a great success! 189 members and guests
attended this year’s festivities. Honorary membership was bestowed
on Joe Moreland and Glen Thrasher. There were a total of 26 members
honored for 50 year membership in the KGS. Many of these members
were in attendance. Because of the generous donations of many companies
and individuals, this year’s banquet will be “in the black.” In addition,
some members donated money to provide a student with a complimentary ticket
to the banquet. This novel idea got some “new blood” to attend this
function. Great appreciation goes to Doug Davis for his work in putting
together the banquet. A special thanks is owed to the many companies
and individuals for their gracious and generous donations.
