KANSAS GEOLOGICAL SOCIETY TECHNICAL PROGRAMS
In order to reassure those geologists whose names start with A-L, who will commence the period in which they need to earn CEU’s for license renewal on July 1, 2003 and for those geologists whose names start with M to Z who still need CEU’s, this report is being issued.

Spring 2003 Technical Programs

 
May 1  Walt Hendrickson, Oklahoma City, OK— “Trials and Tribulations”

May 3  Field Trip to Hays, KS - Sternberg Museum.  Participants meet at museum at 9:00 AM.

May 8  Brian Fisher, City of Wichita— “Nature of Groundwater Contamination”

May 22  KGS—SIPES Panel Discussion on Ethics:  Fred James, Roger Martin and Dr. Lynn    Watney as panel with Phil Knighton as moderator.

May 28  Dick Banks, Tulsa, OK — “Essentials of Subsurface Mapping”

Summer Break—No Technical Meetings planned for June, July, or August

All technical meetings are held at 12:30 p.m. in the Bank of America Auditorium 
unless otherwise noted.

Note:  For those geologists who need 30  points to renew their licenses, there will be a sign-in sheet at each presentation and also a certificate of attendance.
