(3) Imperial American Oil Corp. Completes In-
field Wildcat (IOGsi Weekly News 03/01/04)

Wichita-based Imperial American Oil Corporation
has completed an infield wildcat well and stepout of
the Fairport Field in Seward County. The discovery
of oil deposits in the Lansing-Kansas City zones was
made at the Julie Unit #6-1, located 1580 ft. from the
south line and 2300 ft. from the east line (appx SW
NW SE) in section 6-T12s-R15W. Production data
has not been released by operator to date. Murfin
Drilling Company Rig #16 drilled the well to a
total depth of 3460 ft. Site lies on separated feature
nearly five-eighths mile west of the multipay Fair-
port Field, close to the Ellis County line, and is about
5-1/4 miles south and 5-1/2 miles west of Paradise,
Kansas.
(4) Hummon Corporation Has Discovery in Bar-
ber County (IOGsi Weekly News 03/01/04) -
Hum-
mon Corporation, of Wichita (KS), has completed an
infield wildcat test within the Wells North Field in
western Barber County, near the Comanche County
line. The discovery of oil deposits was made at the
Platt #1-5A, located 795 ft. from the north line and
670 ft. from the west line (appx NW NW) in section
5-T34s-R15W. The 4,900 ft. deep well started
producing crude from an undisclosed source in July
last year. It has produced 1,228 barrels of oil through
the first four months on the pump, according to State
records. Site lies about 3/4-mile southwest of Hum-
mon's Platt / Z Bar #1 in section 32-T33s-R15W,
which was completed as an oil well in September
last year. Field area lies 7 miles north and 18 miles
west of Hardtner, Kansas.
(5) Vincent Oil Corp. Establishes New Oil field

poration, Wichita (KS), has discovered Lansing-
Kansas City oil deposits at the successful re-entry
and completion of the Thompson #1 OWWO, lo-
cated in the SE SE SW in section 30-T26s-R16W, in
southern Edwards County. Operator cleaned-out the
old well to a total depth of 4420 ft. in November last
year using Mallard J.V. tools, then set production
casing one foot off bottom. The well was originally
drilled to a depth of 4700 ft. in 1982 and was
plugged and abandoned with shows of gas bubbles
noted in Lansing limestones at 4262 to 4266 ft. and
4363 to 4365 ft. Top of the Lansing formation was
logged at 4064 (-1962 KB). The Thompson #1 has
opened the Trousdale West Field. well completion
details are not available at this time, however, the
well was reportedly placed on pump and producing
commercially on January 8, 2004. Location is ap-
proximately 1-1/2 miles southwest of known Con-
glomerate, Mississippian and Kinderhook oil produc-
tion in the Trousdale Field in section 29-T26s-16W,
and is 1-3/4 miles east of closest LKC oil pay in the
multipay Mull Field in section 26-T26s-R17W. Vin-
cent has staked an south offset location to their new
discovery in approximately NW NW NE of section
31. The planned 4,700 ft. deep test is scheduled to
begin later this month.
(6) Hess Oil Company Finals Trego Infield Dis-
covery (IOGsi Weekly News 03/15/04) -
Hess Oil
Company, of McPherson (KS), has released new in-
formation regarding their recent discovery of
Cherokee Sand oil deposits at the June #1, located in
approximately SW SW NW in section 21-T15s-
R22W, in Trego County (IOGsi Weekly News
02/23/04). The well is currently on pump producing
at the rate of 15 barrels of oil and 2 barrels of water
per day. It was drilled to a total depth of 4300 ft.
with hole plugged-back to a total depth of 4246 ft.
Pay zone has been perforated with eight shots per
foot from 4202 to 4206 ft. First oil sales were started
on December 1, 2003. Hess' new producer has been
recognized as a stepout and infield wildcat discovery
within the Page Creek North Field. Hess Oil has an-
nounced that an offset location will soon be drilled at
the June #2 prospect in approximately NW NE SW
of section 21. Field area is located 6-1/2 miles north
and 2-1/4 miles west of Brownell, Kansas.
(7) Russell Oil Opens New Field in Graham
County (IOGsi Weekly News 04/05/04)

Oil, Inc. of Plainfield, Illinois has opened a new un-
named oil field about 1-1/2 miles east of Hill City,
Kansas in Graham County. Oil deposits were discov-
ered at the Quint 'G' #1-18, located in approximately
C E/2 NE SE in section 18-T8s-R22W. The 3632 ft.
deep well is producing crude from the Lansing-
Kansas City formation at an undisclosed depth. Well
site lies about 3/8-mile southeast of the Rice Trust
#1-A, SW SW SE, that tested 5 ft. of heavy oil cut
mud on drill stem test from 3530 to 3534 ft., but was
plugged and abandoned in 1981. Closest production
is found 5/8-mile to the northwest in the Schnebly
West pool in the northwest-quarter of the section.
The pool opener and fields only producer, Rice Trust
#1, produced a little over 3,100 barrels of oil from
LKC perforations between 3547 to 3581 ft. over a 3
year period in the early 1980's.
