Willis would still be a petroleum ge-
ologist if he had it to do over. From his
own experiences as a petroleum geologist
and perhaps from his school-teacher back-
ground, he would advise the young geolo-
gist just entering the field to continue to
learn whether it be through course work,
seminars, technical programs or just by
reading technical material.
Willis, before he completely retires,
wants to be satisfied with the results of his
efforts and doesn't want to be forced to turn
over his operations until he is ready.
