PRESIDENT'S LETTER
The end is in sight
For all to delight
My term as President
Will end at midnight
December 31, 2004

Next in line is Fred James
Who will take over the reins
He begins 2005 in the black
KGS is thriving and climbing back

55 dollar oil
Has lessened the toil
So at the end of my tour
The coffers of the KGS are a bit more full
And that is no bull

Thanks to the KGS board
This year has been a breeze
Also, to our boss Ms. Radford
Who does her job with ease

The Walter's Digital Library is up and running
Thanks to the vision of members among us
Who donated their time so we could change
Like those geologists before who wanted more
Made us blink and made us think

Thanks to all
Who answer the call
To serve the KGS
And make us the best

Don't forget to mentor
So those after us will do better
Pass on what you know
Before your 6 feet below

A special thanks to Cowdery, Bob
For his excellent job

Here is to Fred and his new crew
And to all of you
It has been fun
So should it end on a pun

No it is not
Saying no more
Is a chore

Will it end
Yes it will
Should we end
Or should we begin

On second thought
Don't get distraught

Thanks for the memories

- Tom Hansen
